The 17th Annual IBA International Arbitration Day will be held on 13-14 February 2014 in Paris at Maison de la Mutualité.
On the afternoon of 13 February 2014 will be held the Young Practitioners’s Symposium co-presented by the IBA Young Arbitration Practitioners (YAP) Subcommittee and the Young International Arbitration Group (YIAG) and supported by the Comité Français de l’Arbitrage 40.
On 14 February 2014 will be held the Conference which will cover the following topics:
- Anything goes? Do counsel owe a duty of honesty in relation to their submissions, and (if so) when and to whom?
- The gathering and taking of evidence: should we seek to level the playing field?
- Arbitrators without powers?
- The IBA Guidelines on Party Representation: the right step or a step too far? A debate.
