CMAP Arbitration Training Course – 2013
The Centre for Mediation and Arbitration (CMAP) is running its next Arbitration Training Course. This course, approved by the Conseil National des Barreaux, will run for 32 hours over 8 afternoons on: 27 September, 4, 11, 18 and 25 October , 15 November and 6 December 2013, from 14h to 18h.

Allow you to address the arbitration by a training in both theoretical and practical issued by arbitration specialists.
Method
4 courses of theoretical instruction, 4 sessions of a practical case study, 1 arbitral award writing.
Interveners
Judges, lawyers, renowned practitioners from the world of arbitration.
Concerned public
Lawyers, Accountants, Legal Officers, Managers and all professionals wishing to practice arbitration.
All those who wish to know the mind of arbitration and its method.
Become arbitrator
At the end of the training, participants who wish to become arbitrators may submit their application to various arbitration institutions, including the CMAP. Regarding the CMAP, the Arbitration Commission, the only relevant, rule twice a year on the files of candidates.
Is likely to be approved by the CMAP anyone trained to arbitration or justifying a practice of arbitration :
– justify a professional experience of at least ten years,
– aged 70 years at most.
However, this training does not constitute a commitment by the Centre to give approval to the function of arbitrator under the aegis of CMAP.
In any event, become an arbitrator is mainly based on one’s ability to provoke and encourage the use of arbitration in his personal entourage and / or professional.
