“Disputes – From prevention to resolution. New ICC services in response to the needs of businesses”.

The French Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC France) and the French Association of Corporate Lawyers (AFJE) are pleased to invite you to a seminar on “Disputes – From prevention to resolution. New ICC services in response to the needs of businesses”.The seminar will be held at the International Chamber of Commerce 38, Cours Albert 1er, Paris (Eight Arrondissement) on Tuesday 21 June 2011 from 9am to 6pm.

 

The seminar will discuss why, when and how to choose a method of dispute prevention and/or resolution and the impact of this choice. These issues will be addressed during the seminar through a comparative examination of services available, from the perspective of the interests of businesses. The new Rules of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce will be at the heart of the debate.

 

The seminar will be co-chaired by Jean-François Guillemin, Secretary General of the Bouygues group and John Beechey, President of the International Court of Arbitration of ICC. It will be led by leading professionals and allow participants (company lawyers, representatives of SMEs, members of the legal profession) to find answers to their questions regarding choice of a method of dispute prevention and/or resolution, regardless of the nature of the dispute and the amounts involved.
