“Enforcement of Arbitral Awards”

The French Commission on Arbitration (CFA) is organising a workshop on the theme of “Enforcement of Arbitral Awards”. This session is the latest in a series of workshops dedicated to stages of the arbitral procedure and is being run by the “Domestic Arbitration” working group.

French law regarding the enforcement of arbitral awards has seen some substantial changes aimed at increasing the ease and efficiency of enforcement, with a focus on the contractual freedom of parties to organise this themselves. Following the entry into law of reforms in this domain, this workshop offers the opportunity to review questions on the new law in a group environment.

This session will focus on French domestic law, although there will be some discussion on international arbitration law during the session. An information pack will be provided to participants.

Participation is free; registration is essential as places are limited. Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Registrations are by email to: Ms Aline Cambon at secretariat@arbitrage-fr.org and must include your full name, address, telephone number and email address in order to be valid.

The workshop runs from 13h30 to 17h and will be held at:

Maison du Barreau de Paris
Salle Gaston Monnerville
2, rue de Harlay (Place Dauphine)
75001 PARIS
